Highways

Two major highways intersect Lexington, U.S. 24 and MO Highway 13. The new four- lane bridge across the Missouri River and Highway 13 was completed in recent years.

Lexington Memorial Airport is conveniently located four miles from downtown Lexington providing a 2925-foot lighted and paved instrument approach runway. Rail

Union Pacific Railroad serves Lexington as a major east route between Kansas City and St. Louis. Rail services, located two miles from Lexington, include one freight step per day and on demand. Piggyback services are available in Kansas City, just 45 miles away.
