"Accredited with Distinction" provides academic excellence in the core areas as well as in the vocational area. The Lexington R-V School District has 950 students enrolled in grades K-12. The district also operates a pre-school, the Lex-La-Ray Technical Center and the Student Success Center that is an alternative high school. The Lexington R-V School District is an A+ school; supports a School to Work Program and offers cooperative college credit programs.
The Lex-La-Ray Technical Center offers post secondary classes as well as secondary classes in Technical Information Management, Business Computers, Practical Nursing, Automotive Collision Repair, Automotive Technology, Agricultural Science, Marketing, Machine Tool, Welding and Health Occupations.

Wentworth College provides an extraordinary traditional college experience as well as an elite military college experience (the Wentworth Dragon Battalion-U.S. Army Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps Program). Founded in 1880, WMA is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and is the oldest military academy west of the Mississippi. Park University on the Wentworth Campus
Our campus at Wentworth Junior College in Lexington, Missouri (Get directions), is a part of the Park University, School for Extended Learning. We serve not only military members and their dependents, but also welcome all civilians in the local communities.
